Nielsen Park Amenities

Conservation & restoration work including repairs & upgrades to the Nielsen Park Heritage Eastern Toilet Block and former SLSC.

The contract incorporated sandstone repair, structural timber repairs, window replacement and repair, historic geometric tiles repair, new toilet partitions, new amenities fit out ,services and the reconstruction of the surf club deck.

The project was carried out in a live environment on an extremely busy beach precinct.

The project required thoughtful and careful planning , not only due to the heritage nature of the project but the fact it was carried out in a very busy precinct with part of the project on the beach.

Environment considerations and planning played a big part of the project and Carfax are proud of the end result which was a high quality finish with no environmental or WHS incidents.
