This project comprises a new single-storey NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) facility at Catherine Field, designed and constructed to provide a fully operational emergency services building ready for occupation, use, and long-term maintenance.
The facility includes three fire appliance bays fitted with full-height roller shutter doors, designed to accommodate RFS firefighting vehicles and associated equipment. The building incorporates internal operational spaces including administration areas, briefing/training rooms, equipment and general storage, staff amenities and locker rooms, and plant rooms. All building services, fittings, and finishes have been selected for durability, ease of operation, and compliance with relevant NSW RFS standards and statutory requirements.
External works form part of the completed asset and include secure perimeter fencing, controlled vehicular access, on-site parking, paved circulation areas, stormwater infrastructure, and landscaped zones. These elements support safe daily operations and are designed to minimise ongoing maintenance requirements.
