Nambour State College – Demolish Block E & F

A Design and Construct contract for the demolition of existing dual level classrooms and installation of new walkways, pavements and landscaping.

Further works under contract included a major fibre optic network upgrade to service all buildings across the senior campus to ensure system compliance to current standards.

Key aspects of works undertaken included:
–   Structural and Hydraulic Design and Co-ordination
–   Fibre optic cable reticulation across the senior campus and Centre of Network upgrade
–   Removal of asbestos containing material across multiple zones
–   Structural demolition of two dual level classroom buildings
–   Installation of structural steel walkway awning
–   Installation of concrete walkways, footpaths and stairs
–   Artificial turfing and landscaping works

The college was open throughout the duration of the construction period, and works were scheduled around school activities, with some demolition undertaken after hours.
