Royal Botanic Gardens, Glasshouse

Carfax were contracted for the construction of a new glasshouse at the Back of House at the Botanic Gardens in Sydney.

Works undertaken included the demolition of an existing steel and shade cloth structure and the construction of a new steel and glass Greenhouse.  The contract incorporated a large automated component, including DX Units, Evaporative Coolers, Circulation and Exhausts Fans along with automated systems controlling foggers, shade screens, heat  and natural ventilation through roof vents and wall louvre control.

The automated system monitors and logs internal and external environments for temperature, humidity and light.
