St Patrick’s College, Gympie Amenities Refurbishment

The amenities refurbishment at St Patrick’s College, Gympie, involved the complete strip out to the Male and Female bathrooms and installation of all new finishes and fixtures, including decorative metal screens and entry gates, timber look compact laminate toilet partitions, floor and wall tiling, in-wall flush mount toilets.

A major part of the project included structural demolition and installing structural steel beams and columns to support the load of the concrete slab above both bathrooms. The steel beam was pre-stressed to ensure no movement in the concrete after installation of the steel.

The toilets were located centrally within the school and the fast-tracked construction programme was completed on time in 10 weeks.
