Sydney Eye Hospital

This highly sensitive fitout involved construction literally adjacent the walls of four operational operating theatres.

There was a high consultative process undertaken prior to construction commencing involving our Mechanical Subcontractor and consultants to provide a dust free working environment within the operating areas. This involved the shutdown and testing of the hospitals air conditioning and exhaust system. Hydraulic, Fire and Electrical Systems needed to be thoroughly tested and certified for sign off prior to any shutdowns occurring.

The fitout involved the complete refurbishment of the area the hospital use to sterilise their operating instruments. This involved demolition and relocation of all services mentioned above and dismantling and replacement of ceiling and floors and liaising to install all sterilising equipment.
