Vetmech Vet Clinic

This project involved construction of a new Veterinary clinic, associated landscaping and new carpark.

Prior to starting, we undertook the full remediation of the site due to asbestos found inground.

Features of the new vet clinic include:

• operating theatres,
• an X Ray room,
• acoustic treatment throughout,
• acoustic timber-look aluminium screening and;
• the installation of a specialist medi-gas system.

The design involved filling the entire site after remediation and compacting to a level 1 certified requirement.

The structure of the new building consisted of bored piers/concrete slab on ground and a mixture of timber and block walls.

The fit out included a large component of joinery and stainless-steel fixtures.

Carfax worked extensively with the Architect to value engineer multiple items to ensure the client achieved the best value-for-money project.
