Woorim Amenities

Woorim Beach Amenities is a purposely designed and built facility driven by Government initiative to ensure Queensland beaches are more accessible for persons with disability or mobility impairment. This new facility features changing rooms utilising a ceiling hoist to allow transfers from mobility aids for bathing and access to purpose beach wheelchairs.

Key features of this project are the concrete finish columns, double honed block walls, aluminium roofing and galvanise structural framing allowing this building to situate right on the beachside and enjoy a longevity of building life.

Two (2) central breezeways separate ambulant, unisex and sex specific toilet cubicle from the shower cubicles and the PWD facilities. Families are catered for with a specific family change room.
Timber batten screening and extensive landscaping finish this project off, allowing it to situate itself within the existing landscape and compliment surrounding areas.
