Brendale Gallery and Museum

Brendale Gallery and Museum

The project at Brendale for the Moreton Bay Regional Council incorporated the construction of a climate-controlled art storage facility within an existing warehouse.

The new facility is constructed using insulated panels for the walls and ceilings and has a state-of-the-art security and dry fire system. A permanent storage facility for artwork requires the temperature and humidity to be regulated which is controlled by a new HVAC system installed during these works.

The facility has multiple compactus racking systems as well as shelf and wall hanging options to store artwork.

An office fit out was also undertaken during these works converting an open plan area into three separate offices in addition to the construction of a server/communications room.
