Carfax were proud winners of another NSW Master Builder’s Excellence in Construction Award at the 2022 Awards Night on Saturday 12th November 2022.
The project experienced a can-do attitude from all parties including our staff, our clients and their consultants, and our subcontractors who all worked as a strong team in a joint effort to deliver this fantastic and much needed facility in the remote town of Walgett.
This project was delivered in this remote region of NSW during strict COVID-19 lockdown periods to the original construction programme, defying the delays experienced from locked down municipalities, closed borders and worker shortages.
Carfax played a key role in saving our client over $1M through value engineering processes……And, we DOUBLED our Aboriginal Participation in Construction goals.
Overall, the works were well executed to a high standard under difficult conditions. A high level of skill and co-ordination has been demonstrated to achieve the final result.
