Hervey Bay Library Roof Replacement

Hervey Bay Library Roof Replacement

The refurbishment of the Hervey Bay Library included the following major works

  • Complete HVAC upgrade,
  • New metal roof,
  • structural steel upgrades and
  • the internal fit out of the offices and library space.

A large component of the project was coordinating the removal and installation of the new HVAC units in the plant rooms while upgrading the steel structure and replacing the roof.
Substantial cranes were required for this project which required the closure of public roads.
Internally, the Library ceilings were all replaced, walls and ceilings painted with new glazing elements and doors installed. The electrical and fire protection cabling was required to be upgraded to meet current codes and new data and power points were introduced into the building.
