Shore School Level 1 Staff Amenities

Extension and upgrade of the existing Level One Staff Amenities (Male only) within the War Memorial Hall which involved demolishing the existing amenities and extending the building to the West to enable a larger footprint to accommodate separate Male and Female amenities.

The extension was predominantly timber framed and incorporated a heritage style ‘bellcast’ curved façade which required meticulous planning and attention to detail to successfully execute in a condensed project time frame. The extension included replacing the existing metal roof with a new copper roof. Internally the amenities received entirely new electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and fire services along with a new waterproof membrane system and floor and wall tiling. New sanitary items were installed throughout along with toilet partitions and joinery.

All works were successfully completed in seven weeks (which included the Christmas period) in a tight space and in close quarters with several sensitive areas of the clients property with no complaints recorded. The project also involved the co-ordination of a construction certificate prior to commencing construction and an occupation certificate prior to completion, both of which were successfully issued prior to the required dates.
